faerie dance - a short tale in text

round and round, over common ground,

sparkles flicker and dance in the night,

but if you look closely you will have found,

something fantastic deep in the light. 

when faeries dance you are caught, you stare,

the gentlest turns and leaps delight, 

as you watch them float thru the air,

tis such a wondrously beautiful sight!

And when they move you can but smile,

As they twist and turn with such grace,

Caught in a moment for just a while,

Before the memory fades from this magical place.

Took A Ride On A Faerie-tale

i took a ride on a fairytale for you,

to write a poem cos you're feeling blue, 

of witches and wizards, all fighting through,

of damsels, of knights, and of dragons too.

a spell cast leaves all feeling down,

the kingdom lies lost under a broken crown,

but fear ye not, no need to frown,

all may yet be saved in this fair town. 

For a hero comes to show the way, 

to break the spell, keep the evil at bay,

to bring a smile and chase the blues away,

evil in fairyland - a bedtime tale in text

in the land of fairies a black cloud floats,

shrouding all the fairy boats, 

darkening all the fairy lights,

never have they seen such sights!

an evil queen walks the land, 

spreading harm with the wave of a hand, 

fairies wither they hide they cry, 

under her spell they can no longer fly!

and suddenly there is a blinding light, 

the fairy queen is putting up a fight, 

and she drives away the evil queen, 

to leave neverland once more serene.
